2010 Queens Reception
On Saturday
the 25th of September Bordentown YC celebrated along with family,
friends, present and past Princesses, past Queens and visiting club dignitaries
the Crowning of their Princess Rebecca
Jones as our 2010 DRYL Queen. The clubhouse
was decorated with pictures and banners all wishing Rebecca well and congratulating her on her most recent accomplishment. Rebecca was presented a Proclamation from The
Honorable Jim Lynch, Mayor of Bordentown ( and PC of Bordentown YC ) for her achievements. She was recognized for her scholastic honors,
her hobbies and her ability overcome one of her fears. As I have only known Rebecca a short time, I
have come to realize that she is a very bright and sweet young lady who I am
sure will do a wonderful job for us as our Queen. As with all the Queens I have had the honor
to escort as my tenure of President – I will be extremely honored to escort
this charming young lady up and down river and the Bay in her upcoming year as
